Der Premiumwanderweg Teufelskanzelsteig durchkämmt auf seinen schmalen Pfaden die stillsten Winkel Bad Peterstal-Griesbachs. Anstiege und Höhepunkte wechseln sich mit genüsslichen Takten zum Luftholen harmonisch ab. Wasserfälle, mystische Kraftorte wie die Teufelskanzel und atemberaubende Aussichten lassen die Wanderer immer wieder staunen und innehalten.

Von der Sommerskisprungschanze geht es zum Griesbacher Wasserfall, der sich in Kaskaden über die Felsblöcke ergießt. Auf moosbewachsenen Steinstufen entlang des Wasserfalls gilt es, den ersten Anstieg zu bezwingen. Und bergauf geht es für die nächsten Kilometer, vorbei an der Sexauer Hütte, über abenteuerliche Pfade und Treppen zur Teufelskanzel, einer großen Gesteinsformation auf dem Weg. Der herausfordernde Teil der Tour ist nun geschafft. Wer viel Energie und Lust hat, dem sei jetzt noch ein Abstecher zum Glaswaldsee-Seeblick empfohlen. Der 1,3 Kilometer lange, herrliche Weg dorthin ist ausgeschildert und einfach. Am Ziel begeistert er mit einer schönen Aussicht. Zurück auf dem Premiumwanderweg Teufelskanzelsteig geht es langsam bergab in Richtung Bärenfelsen. Anschließend endet der schmale Wurzelpfad am Aussichtspunkt Marienruhe auf 900 Höhenmetern. Hier lohnt sich eine Rast am Griesbacher Genussplatz mit Himmelsliege und Getränkestation, wo man das wundervolle Bergpanorama genießen kann. Der Ausblick erstreckt sich über das im Tal liegende Bad Griesbach bis hinüber in den Nationalpark Schwarzwald.

Im Zick-Zack geht es nun auf dem Premiumwanderweg Teufelskanzelsteig immer bergab, vorbei am Rappenschliff, einer gigantischen Steilrinne mit Felsabbrüchen im Buntsandstein. Im weiteren Verlauf kreuzt man das so genannte Silbereck, ein Gebiet unweit des Haberer Turms in dem ehemals Silbererz abgebaut wurde. Der kurze Abstecher zum Haberer Turm lohnt sich. Der 16 Meter hohe, aus Sandstein gemauerte Turm, wurde im Jahr 1899 zu Ehren des einstigen Medizinalrates und Förderer der Renchtalbäder, Dr. Albert Haberer, erbaut. Auf sanft abfallenden Waldwegen geht es dann wieder zum Ausgangspunkt an der Skisprungschanze.
